Since it's launch  in  2012, Apple Maps has been mainly criticized for not being detailed enough and many others but one thing the team working on the Apple Maps can finally boast of is the success of  their plans to finally complete the US map - a project which lasted for circa 15 months. Even after investing so much into this, Apple still plans to expand this to Europe while still ensuring this is up-to-date by allowing their drones and vans to still capture the location data.
