From Captain Marvel to Endgame to Homecoming, Marvel has increased their total earnings to 18 billion dollars. And they don't seem to be slowing down. The following are some of the upcoming movies announced and those rumored to be in the works.


  • Black Widow

: November 6, 2020
The trailer of this film was shown at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. The film is set in Budapest and is supposed to shed some light on Natasha's past.
It would begin Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe


  • The Eternals

Release Date: February 12, 2021
Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige revealed a film based on the Eternals comic book and concept was in development. The Eternals are a superhuman and immortal people created by the Celestials(The Gold people from Guardians of the Galaxy  Vol. 2). The Eternals are tasked with protecting Earth using their powers of flight, telepathy, manipulation of matter among others.
Confirmed cast members are Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nunjiani, Do Lee, Richard Madden among others.


  • Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

May 7, 2021
The lead role is set to be played by Simu Liu. Other cast members ae \Akwafina and Tony Leung as the real Mandarin.
Shang-Chi is a superhero who uses his martial arts prowess to combat villains. The Ten Rings, however, is an international crime syndicate headed by the Mandarin who wears 10 rings. These rings have cosmic origins which might play a bigger role down the line.


  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

November 5, 2021
The movie director, Scott Derrickson refers to this as the "first scary MCU movie". Benedict Cumberbatch returns as Dr. Strange alongside Elizabeth Olsen's  Scarlet Witch. The movie would explore the Multiverse and establish a connection to Olsen's upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision.


  • SPIDER-MAN 3

August 16, 2021
Tom Holland originally signed a three-film deal so a sequel was expected. Considering the events of Spider-Man Far From Home, we expect to see Peter Parker evade law enforcement whiles trying to clear his name.
The film could introduce Vulture and the Sinister 6, a group of villains that comprises of Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus among others.


  • Thor: Love and Thunder

Release Date: February 28, 2022
Chris Hemsworth is set to return, just not as Thor. The mantle would be taken up by Natalie Portmann. Tessa Thompson will also star as Valkyrie, King of Asgard who must find a Queen.
Loki would probably return to torment his now nameless brother.
This movie would also wrap up Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

  • Blade

Nothing Confirmed but probably 2022.
Marvel President, Kevin Feige presented a delightful surprise to fans at this year's Comic-Con in the form of this film. It is set to star two time Academy Award Winner, Mahershala Ali in the lead. Blade would begin Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A lot of fans expect former Blade actor, Wesley Snipes to make a cameo.


  • Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3

Release Date:  February 18, 2022
After grossing over 1.6 billion dollars internationally,  another sequel was definitely expected.  The core cast of the film is set to return. The film would probably take place after Endgame. Peter Quill(Chris Pratt) would definitely go in search of Gamora(Zoe Saldana)


  • Black Panther 2

Release Date: May 6,  2022
Ryan Coogler has already signed up for the sequel. He has already begun working on the script. Black Panther 2 would most likely reflect on Wakanda's interactions with the outside world.


  • Ant-Man 3

Release Date: July 29, 2022
 The movie would probably reflect on his relationships with friends and family post-snap. Hope, Han, and Janet will need to adjust to life.
