Sony just showcased four new colours for the controllers of their popular gaming console, the (PlayStation 4) PS4 increasing the total variants of colours to 25. The new colour additions are Electric Purple, Red Camouflage, Titanium Blue, and Rose Gold and will be available this fall.
This is not the first of many group of controllers that have been released by Sony since the active sale of the PS4 Pro in 2016. The latest variant of the DualShock 4 controller is currently the 500 Million limited edition controllers, which were released together with the special edition consoles in September last year, to mark the sale of the 500 Millionth PS4 console.
As a big fan of the rose gold colour -- using a rose gold phone, I'm so excited for this new additions especially the new Rose Gold Headset.
The new DualShock 4 controllers will be available for purchase this September, for USD 64.99 ~ GHS 350.00 and the headset will be available in November for USD 99.99 ~ GHS 550
In as much as I'm excited for these new additions, as a gamer, my worry is why Sony is making these new additions now, why didn't they release it together with the PS5 which is rumoured to be released early next year?, and does this push the release date of the next-gen console further?
