It's another year and another time for apple to release their well-known flagship phones, and introducing the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 pro and 12 pro max come in four new finishes, including elegant silver, rich deep graphite, stunning gold, and an all-new pacific blue.
And introducing to the 12 Pro and 12 pro max is a Ceramic Shield which apparently is the new screen technology adopted to prevent screen cracks 4x safer from a drop. The new 12 models have improved water and dust resistant up to 6 meters with an IP68 rating which will allow them to withstand submersion up to 6 meters for 30 minutes.
The Pro design also comes with their all-new MagSafe accessories which will allow attachment for users and also improve charging(high-power charging). Their Super Retina XDR displays on the 12 Pro and 12 Pro max increases to a 6.1-inch display and 6.5-inch display respectively. With their all-new A14 Bionic chip, Deep Fusion is made possible on all four cameras including the front-facing true depth camera. Their Wide camera new features a 12MP which lets 27% low light on the iPhone 12 Pro model. The iPhone 12 Pro max also comes with an all-new telephoto camera which would allow you to optically zoom in two and a half times for closer shots. And also features an all-new wide camera.
Apple is also introducing Apple ProRAW, which will be available in the iPhone camera app in their Pro models. Which will allow Pros to edit Apple ProRAW in the photos app and other professional editing apps. And for the first time, Apple is bringing HDR video recording to the iPhone. You can now record in 10-bit HDR which means you can capture over 700 million colors and would be the first camera to record in Dolby Vision HDR. You can record these videos at a 4k resolution with 60 frames per second.
Coming new to the prod models is LiDAR. Which stands for light detection and ranging. LiDAR would help improve Autofocus in low light scenes 6x faster, improve depth in low light for Night mode, enable Night mode portrait shots. iPhone 12 pro starts at $999 and iPhone 12 pro max at $1099
