The Best Games of 2020: The Last of Us Part II, Doom Eternal and more!

The best games of the year 2020

Despite the flaws of 2020, gaming hasn't been really affected by all its disasters. It was decent for some aspects of gaming, new graphic cards, new next-gen consoles, etc. And here are some of the best games of 2020. In the category of best score and music, we have coming in at third place, second place and first place respectively.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Final Fantasy of 2020 swapped turn-based combat with much more involving real-time and expands the first leg of the original story by dozen of hours. Including with a bit more filter complicated new pilots.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Everyone loves Spiderman and in 2020 this game was released exclusively to the PlayStation. It pretty much featured the traditional feel of the previous Spiderman game with the web-swinging and combat gameplay and game mechanics. And that feeling of having a different character behind the mask made everything feel fresh. It's a pretty short game but very entertaining.

Doom Eternal

Emphasis was really placed on the soundtrack and mechanics of this game. It's was a great first person shooter game in 2020. Doom Eternal brings the high speed to death in-game combat. It also included 2 v 1 multiplayer battle mode. You will have huge monsters coming for you and this even raises the bar of the level of gameplay.

And moving on, we have some games which also made a big splash in 2020.

The Last of Us Part II

You might already be familiar with the Game of the Year. The Last Of Us Part II was one of the most anticipated games of 2020. This game made it to the big screens and swept a lot of awards with its incredible storyline and amazing gameplay. Naughty Dog pushed this game to its highest, putting in detail in every aspect of the gameplay, combat, and graphics. In conclusion, The Last of Us Part II looks and plays great.

Crash Bandicoot: It's About time

A game whose title hasn't been around for a long time. Finally brought fans something to catch up to in 2020. Crash remastered brought new ways of playing with even much more difficult levels and even new characters to play in-game.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima with its open-world genre managed to break the scenes when it came out. It was one of the most played games which came exclusively to the PlayStation 4. It's in no rush, with winds in-game gently guiding players on where to go. This game lets players admire every landscape or setting on particular scenes. It's involving with samurai combats obviously in Chinese settings.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Nobody expected this game to make this kind of impact. Gameplay featured hotdog costumes of different colors, which can be exclusively customized by players. It's a battle royale game that plays in a very different way, offering gameplay in an arcade-like mode. Fall Guys hit the mark offering both fun and frustrating in equal amounts. Fall guy manages to make you want to punch yourself when losing but also scream when winning. It's basically guiding your jelly bean avatar through interesting levels.

2020 has been a very fulfilling year just not for video games but also for next-gen consoles and graphic cards, which also supported a major part of gaming allowing developers to take their game to the next level with graphics and in-game mechanics.
