GET THE BEST OUT OF CHROME WITH THESE 10 STEPS

Chrome is one of Google's most used products and also the most popular browser for desktop browsing. We've got some 10 tricks that will make you get the best out of your chrome..


#1: UPDATE YOUR  BROWSER
Just click the three dots on the far right near the address bar to check for any warnings of updates and install the immediately

#2: CHROME EXTENSIONS
Click on the three dots, point to more tools and choose extensions into the address bar and disable/delete any unwanted extensions. You may lose associated data if you choose to delete.


#3: UNWANTED PLUGINS
In your address bar, type "chrome://plugins" (without quotes)  into the address bar and deactivate all inactive and unwanted plugins

#4: BROWSER TABS
Opening too many tabs slows down your browser and the PC as a whole.

#5: GET THE DATA SAVER EXTENSION
You can find this in the chrome webstore. It makes surfing the internet very fast by compressing and reducing the quality of media files, not loading too many scripts, etc. 

#6: DON'T LEAVE CHROME OPENED WHEN YOU'RE DONE!
You shouldn't leave your browser open all the time. Just close it when you're done. You can customize chrome to retrieve your last session on start up. You can do that in  Settings > "On Start up" > (and choose) "Continue where you left off"

Use Ctrl ( ⌘  on Mac) + Shift + T to retrieve mistakenly deleted tab.

#7: USE THE DEFAULT THEME
Though they look cool, most themes use a lot of RAM so by using the default, it makes the browser faster. You can find this in Settings > Appearance > (choose) Reset to default theme button isn't greyed out then you're running a custom theme. Click the button to go back to the default.

#8: ENABLE SMOOTH SCROLLING
Enter  "chrome://flags" (without quotes) into the address bar and look for Enable fast tab/windows close. This option speeds up Chrome by allowing it to close windows separate to any JavaScript code that might be running.

#9: BROWSER CACHE
Tap on the three dots > Settings > Advanced > Clear Browser Data. (Clear from the "beginning of time for improved results)

#10: MALWARE & JUNK
Use your virus scanner or antivirus software to scan and clean any junk and unwanted files which may be causing the PC to slow down.
