Apple Watch SE is another wearable that was introduced into the Apple watch family alongside the latest Series 6, unveiled during the Apple September 15th event.

Just like the Series 6, the Apple Watch SE will run watchOS 7 and to enhance the new experience is the presence of a much better Retina display, allowing you to see so much more at a glance. The broader watch face allows for more surface area for information and apps, including messages and fitness metrics.

The new Apple Watch SE uses the S5 chip which is also present in the Series 5, for nearly twice faster in performance than Series 3, its intended replacement. The device has almost all the features of the Series 6 including the accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and altimeter leaving out the Series 6's major feature—the ability to detect blood oxygen levels.

With a starting price of $279 ~ GH₵1600, the Apple Watch SE fits best as the gap between the high-end Series 6 watch and the Series 3 similar to the iPhone SE's role in the mid-range (budget) smartphone.
